Can ANSYS fluent calculate two phase (water-sand) LES?
Thanks!!

SubscriberI see. I would like to calculate effect of particle flow on the turbulence of fluid. Eventually I wanna calculate acoustic pressure generated by the turbulence. Would you tell me which calculation method I should use? Are there any instruction page to calculate two-phase (liquid-solid) LES?

Ansys EmployeeHave a look in the manuals for Mixture Model (multiphase), focus on granular, and LES (turbulence). The courses under Learning (book icon on the left hand tool bar here) will cover some of the basics and specifics. Depending on the detail you need you may find it's an excessively computationally expensive calculations.

Boost Ansys Fluent Simulations with AWS
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) helps engineers design products in which the flow of fluid components is a significant challenge. These different use cases often require large complex models to solve on a traditional workstation.
