UDF function result to use in report definition expression?

  Hello everyone.
  
  Is it possible to use the result of an UDF function in a report definition expression?
  
  In my UDF I specify a displacement function that is used with the DEFINE_GRID_MOTION macro. I would like to create a report definition expression that needs the value of that displacement in each face.
  How can I accomplish that?

  Perhaps storing in Cell Memory and then accessing that memory in the related DEFINE macro to create the report definition.
