SubscriberHello,
I have parametrized my fluent setup in ansys workbench and run 10 iterations each on the host computer.
Now im running those generated cases and data files on multiple nodes on HPC simultaneously. After convergence, I copy them along with reports to their folders on the host computer. But the output parameters value is not updating in the table of design points tab for the converged solution.
Kindly give a solution for this problem. -

SubscriberHello,Kindly make sure that the result files are saved in the correct location (specified directory) when you set up Fluent simulation. And results files from the HPC cluster are saved in the same location as the original files.Did you try updating the Design Point table?Regards,Supreetha -

SubscriberThat's for the response supreetha,
Yes, im saving the files from where I copied them.
After coping if I do update the design point table. It's running from the start and creates a new case and data file.
Workbench is not responding to the latest data file.

Ansys EmployeeFirst check read write permissions for the folders. Then check if you have any special character or spaces in the names of any files or folders. Please remove them if any. Are you retaining deisgn point files? How big are your files? When you say you ran it on host computer, was it was it updating the table? Can you pleaser run one dp till convergence on host computer and check?
Please go through help manual for more details

Keyur

Subscriber- Regarding read-write permission, I have checked, and it is accessible. And as mentioned, the output files are in the same folder from where they were taken.
- No trace of special characters or spaces in the names of files and folders.
- Yes, design points are retained. That's why I can use the case and data file to run in HPC.
- size not more 500mb
- yes table was updating while I was running it on host pc.
requesting to solve this problem.

Ansys EmployeeSo did you just took only case and data files to HPC? You did not run it from WB.

Ansys EmployeeYou will need to take full WB file and run it through WB. Then it will update DPs.
Please go through help manual for more details
