Unable to use GPU in Mechanical Analysis

      I am using NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphic card. Can anyone tell me how to get GPU into usage while analysing?

      The NVIDIA GeForce line has not been tested as a GPU so it is flagged as such and not used by the solver.

      Here is a document that lists the GPUs that have been tested: https://www.ansys.com/content/dam/it-solutions/platform-support/2022-r2-gpu-accelerator-capabilities.pdf

      You can try setting this environment variable:

             ANSGPU_OVERRIDE=1

      before solving to force the solver to use the GPU anyway. If that doesn’t work, then this card can’t be used for GPU.

      Restart all ANSYS applications after you create the environment variable.

      I expect you will find the solver takes longer to solve a mechanical problem if you force it to use a GPU that is not intended for computation.  The GeForce card is intended to accelerate 3D graphics zoom, pan and rotate operations, not numerical computations.
