SubscriberDear all,
I'm using ANSYS 2019 R2 poly-hexcore module for mesh generation with Watertight Geometry Workflow (by enabling Beta Options).
My problem came when I finished the mesh and I tried to save it: ANSYS don't alow me to do that (even though if I try a polyhedral one, there's no problem). When I go to the Workbench, it appears a green tick, but if I try to re-open the Mesh nothing has been saved.
Thanks!

Ansys EmployeeHow many cells are in the mesh? There's a cap of 512k on the Student and Teaching licences which you may have exceeded: there should be a warning message but if you're using beta features it may not activate.

SubscriberThat's definitely why I can't save it. I'm using an Academic license from my univerisity and the mesh is about 30 million cells. I will use the polyhedral mesh instead of the poly-hexacore. Thank you so much!

Ansys EmployeeThat'll have the same issue: you need a research licence to remove the cell count cap. You'll also need the research licence & HPC to run the model.
