Unexpected pressure gradient Ansys Fluent

  Hi everyone,
  I am trying to simulate a simple flow through a smooth pipe. Later on I plan to add porous structure on its interior, but only after I get a sattisfying results from this simple model first.

  Hi,nFirstly, in Fluent, we specify the total pressure (gauge) for pressure inlet and static pressure (gauge) for pressure outlet. Based on the obtained velocity, Fluent estimates the dynamic pressure at the inlet and outlet boundaries. nSecondly, absolute pressure = operating pressure + gauge pressure.nDoes this answer your question?nThank you.nKarthikn
