SubscriberHello
when I go to unfolded the following piece of sheet metal and save it in dxf it saves me some lines that I don't want, is there the possibility to save it without this outline indicated in the picture?
I would like to save only the outline of the hole

SubscriberSubashni It would be nice if when exporting a dxf / dwg of a unfolded file it exported only the upper surface in dxf or only the lower one but not both

SubscriberSubashni Hello
I attach 3 files, the first is a video to show you the problem of saving spacecliam when saving the dxf of one unfolded.
While the other two are the files to show you the problem (solid, dxf)
As you can see in the dxf file, spaceclaim saves both faces of the developed file and not just one (the selected one).
In this way who puts the file in laser cutting always finds the problem of having to go to eliminate the double lines this creates problemsBest Regards

Ansys EmployeeHi Robert
Apologies for the delay.
Looking at the cut, I don't think it's possible to avoid the edges of the cut located on other side. One workaround is to copy the unfolded geometry in a new session and then manually clean the corners so that they are not visible. Or the other option is to copy the top surface of all bodies in a new session and then extrude them to match the thickness of the geometry.

SubscriberHello Naresh Patre
I also thought of doing this, but after the file it loses the layers of the folds and the other layers, I hoped there was another way.
Thanks for the reply, have a nice day
