Using the Thin Wall Boundary Condition with the MHD module in FLUENT

I've been trying to model simple MHD flow through a duct in FLUENT. I have a simple rectangular, 3D geometry, and was trying to apply the thin wall condition to two of the walls. The other two I left as insulating. When I try to set the thin wall condition and set a thickness for the wall, however, FLUENT automatically resets it to zero. I have tried to use the text commands instead, and while it does not reset the thickness to zero, it still gives an "Invalid potential field" error when I go to solve. I haven't seen anything in the documentation or previous issue people have had that has helped me resolve this issue. Thank you!
