我在仿照官网AWG案例optics.ansys.com进行改动,案例本身是mesh覆盖了整个varfdtd区域,mesh设置条件如图,请问其中equivalent x index,equivalent y index是根据材料有效折射率确定的吗?我可否把它改小来减少运行所需内存?

Ansys Employeeequivalent x index,equivalent y index 一般是高于或者低于材料折射率,这是因为,如果用材料折射率,就没有必要用Override网格了。Override网格可以设置具体尺寸,也可以设置为某个折射率值,目的是产生不同于用材料折射率生成网格的网格尺寸。
减小它们的数值意味着更差的网格精度。你知道结果精度与网站尺寸直接相关,具体你想得到准确一点但是仿真慢,还是得到误差大一点但是仿真快,由你自己决定了。
