SubscriberHello, I am performing a simulation of a plate subjected to a rotational load induced by a motion of the base along its axes, and I need the plate to vary its density depending on the location while keeping the other properties constant. I also need the rotational load to vary depending on the location. How can I integrate this into my model? I have read that I can input tables with density data based on location, and I can also create functions that determine it based on spatial coordinates. However, I haven't found clear instructions on how to do it.

Ansys EmployeeHey Ignacio!
You can use field variables to specify spatially varying densities.
