SubscriberHello,
i have air and water droplets coming in in an annular pipe as primary and secondary phase. the inlet surface is same since it is a single annular pipe however for defining the velocity inlet boundary consition i need two separate named surface selection that i can define as liquid inlet and air inlet. How i can name two sections of inlet after meshing so fluent considers liquid inlert and air inlet separately?

Ansys EmployeeWhy do you want to have two named selection referring to the same surface? This is by the way not possible. Just use the unique surface and provide your BC input!

SubscriberBecause my input is air and droplets and when i give droplet volume fraction=1, Fluent assumes air mass flow rate zero.
I figured out now hat it is not possible so i am using now a pipe geometry with inner and outer ring so i can define air and droplets separately.
