Viewing Streamline Data for Final Time Step in CFD Post (Fluent)

      Hello,

I'm very new to using Fluent (only about 3 days experience, so bare with me), but I have successfully run a transient simulation in Fluent for work. In Fluent, I can view the pathline plot, as well as view an animation. However, when I open CFD Post, and create a streamline plot, it seems to only be showing me the streamline data for the first time step, or maybe the first iteration of the simulation. Despite this, the "time step selector" in the toolbar tells me that it is showing the final time step. Does anyone know how I can get the Fluent data to communicate correctly with CFD Post?

      Thanks!

You need to export cdat files for the timesteps you want from Fluent while running. Please use File - Export - During Solution - Solution data. nYou will find corresponding posts on this forum. nPlease go through help manual for more details nRegards,nKeyurnHow to access Ansys Online Help DocumentnHow to show full resolution imagenGuidelines on the Student CommunitynHow to use Google to search within Ansys Student Communityn
