Subscriberwhen i open fluent the announcement appear (under console with the ansys 19R version):
"VKI license is not available. Corresponding TUI and GUI options |
for import and export will not be
i did search the meaning and the influence, i read that it not need to effect on the simulation. But I get different velocity vectors in the simulation, one of them looks good when in the other I can see nothing.
with the the same file(wbpj), at the good pic of velocity i am using ansys 18 and the other i am using ansys 19R. The contour looks the same.
i did use at the past with thermal and structure simulation at 19R version and didn't see a problem.
i would like to get help.

Ansys EmployeeShouldn't do. VKI is a licence for something which I can't remember but is unlikely to affect anything you do. The vector scale looks to have changed: it's controlled on the vector panel. Thanks for flagging up though!

Ansys EmployeeIn the main Vectors panel drop the scale down to 0.1 and display, then try 0.01 etc. Scaling is based on velocity range so if the newer solver has tidied up one rogue value the scaling can look a little silly.

These different use cases often require large complex models to solve on a traditional workstation.
