SubscriberHello, I am new to Ansys and Fluent software. I am working on a project for school and I need to create a volume mesh. The problem is that my school only has access to Fluent 2020 R1 and I do not have access to the geometry file, just the surface mesh. How can I create a volume mesh from a surface mesh without the geometry file? I understand that newer versions of Fluent have an option in workflow>watertight geometry>import geometry>file format>mesh but this doesn't seem to be the case in the 2020 version
Thanks

Ansys EmployeeWhat is the format of the surface mesh file? You may be able to import it into SpaceClaim and work with a faceted geometry as your model.

SubscriberThank you for your response, however I cannot seem to access that page without a customer account which I do not have due to me being a student
