waveguide coupling of photonic integrated circuit

  I have been doing a simulation on vertical waveguide coupling.2D FDTD works perfectly but 3D FDTD is not working.
  Can anyone help me with this?

  Hi Al,
  Seems like your error has to do with the memory consumption on your simulation, which is expected when you switching from 2D to 3D. We would suggest to reconsider your mesh and structure settings or running it on more powerful pc.
