SubscriberI am from Japan. I bought LS-Dyna. When I studied before buying it, I usually see a very Easy UI with Step by Step procedures. For example, we can start from geometry creation, putting engineering data, and Mesh creation e.t.c. But the LS DYNA Program Manager I have is a little different. Any Idea how they are different from each other.

Ansys EmployeeHi, Program manager is an tool used to run the lsdyna decks and based on what you are saying it shold be an prepost,
Program manager is bundled with Winsuit/complete installation package. Latest version was bundled with R13 (https://ftp.lstc.com/user/pc-dyna/R1311/smp/CompleteInstall/). However, we suggest using LS-RUN. Program manager is obsolete.
cheers, ram

SubscriberSorry my question was incomplete. I found on some youtube videos that we can use LS DYNA from workbench by adding as an extension. The feature for workbench is more convinent than LS pre/post for me . I bought a liscense for LS Dyna and they provided me with LS Pre Post and the solver(LS-Run).
If I have a liscense, can I use LS DYNA with workbench. Do I need to buy a separate liscense for workbench. Thank you so much.
