What are these dark arrows in ANSYS mechanical? (attaching image)

I've been doing hundreds of face splittings in Design Modeler, and when I opened my model in Ansys mechanical, this dark-gray arrows appear (that do not belong to my model).

That is edge direction display
You can turn on/off using this icon (if you are using older version, menus could look different)
