What did the Author mean by source term as “define properties functions”

  Hi all,
  I am curious as to what this author meant by "Resistances and dispersive terms were implemented as source terms using define properties functions.
  Did the author meant he/she used DEFINE_SOURCE or is their a functionality I am missing? For context here are the Resistances and Dispersive terms the author is referring too,

  Hello,
  the author mentions that they were using Fluent 13, for which I cannot speak specifically but I can say that currently, we use DEFINE_SOURCE macro to produce a porous media via UDF.
