What do black arrows mean? Not sure what causes the error?

  Hi All,
  
  1. what do the black or gray in the model means?
  
  2. i am not sure what is causing the error in the model.
  
  3. The way i modeled pinned support is by placing fixed support on bottom surface of vertical rod at left end, and used displacement to place a roller at the right end at bottom surface of vertical rod at right end. Would this be considered correct modeling?
  
  Ansys model is attached.
