      In fluid dynamics, what does a multiphase flow refer to?

      A multiphase flow is a flow in which there are more than one phase (i.e., gas, solid and liquid).

      These flows are very common in industry, and can be found in evaporators, condensers, chemical reactors, pneumatic conveying, etc.
