      Hi everyone

when I use KW-SST SBES model with WALE, I want to calculate the resolved TKE and sub-grid modeled TKE. but how can I calculate the modeled TKE in the WALE SGS model? When I undergo postprocess, I find "Mean-k_sgs_wale" and "Mean-resolved_k" in unsteady statistics after I execute the "solve/set/expert", what do they mean? Does "Mean-k_sgs_wale" mean the modeled TKE in the WALE SGS model?

I would appreciate any help or suggestion.

      Thanks

      Hi,

Yes, you are correct. "Mean-k_sgs_wale" represents the mean value of the sub-grid modeled TKE that is modeled by the WALE SGS model, and "Mean-resolved_k" represents the mean value of the resolved TKE that is directly computed by the simulation.

      I hope this helps!
