SubscriberHello,
I am a beginner in ANSYS Fluent and I have been trying to understand the meshing aspect of CFD. When I am in Fluent, tutorials recommend checking the mesh and evaluating the quality. From these several messages appear discussing the domain extents, statistics, the minimum orthogonal quality and how to improve it.
Can someone please explain the significance of what is being printed out?
Thank you.

Ansys EmployeeIt's information about your model, and is used to check the mesh quality, but also things like location & scale. The latter two are especially useful when working with Americans as they still use weird units which you may, or may not have scaled correctly.

Boost Ansys Fluent Simulations with AWS
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) helps engineers design products in which the flow of fluid components is a significant challenge. These different use cases often require large complex models to solve on a traditional workstation.
