What's difference between TAU and Classic mesh method?

      TAU ? Classic ?

      Thanks.

TAU mesh creates a fine mesh at the beginning and relaxes it when smoothing whereas classic mesh creates coarse mesh at the beginning and refines it while smoothing.
TAU is well suited for curved surfaces and mainly for transient with moment analysis as there is no adaptive meshing in Maxwell Transient simulation.
Classic mesh is well suited for geometries with many thin surfaces.
If you can't decide which one to choose Select the Auto option in Initial mesh settings for Ansys software to decide which one to use.

      Regards Navya
