SubscriberHi all,
I am quite new to using ANSYS Mechanical 2020R2 for analysis and am currently studying its functioning in order to integrate it to HPC. I was trying to run some basic tests with sample models using the windows command prompt but I am facing certain issues.
I am using the command (something I obtained from Mechanical APDL Product Launcher):
"C:Program FilesANSYS Incv202ansysinwinx64MAPDL.exe" -p meba -smp -np 1 -lch -dir "directory" -j "jobname" -b -i "inputfile.inp" -o "outputfile.out"
The output files I receive are as shown in this image

Ansys EmployeeHave you tried opening bike_crank_3.rst which is the largest combined rst of all the files?

Please check the above links for more explanation, but removing SMP (i.e shared memory parallel switches the solver to distributed causing it fire it in DMP mode.
