What simulation technology does ANSYS Discovery use?

I scoured the web for information on what techniques are used by the software and what I have so far is:

      ANSYS Discovery - Explore

      • voxel-based
      • Cartesian
      • FVM
      • LES

      ANSYS Discovery - Refine

      • Lattice-Boltzmann
      • LBM-RANS or LBM-LES

I would like to know more about the two simulation modes in order to understand what class of methods I am using.

      Hello eugenzilio
Please check out below article on simulation technology used in Ansys Discovery that is posted on Ansys Discovery forum

Thank you. I've already seen this post but it talks about ANSYS Discovery Live. From my understanding Discovery - Explore and Discovery Live are the same. Nevertheless, I would like to know more, such as the type of discretisation scheme and turbulence model. In addition, there is Discovery - Refine, which seems to be quite different to the other two.

Refine is using CPU based solver and requires a mesh. Regarding Explore: nothing else can be shared in addition to what we have posted on the discovery forum.
