What will happen if I use conformal variant 0 in case for metal dielectric interface?

      In my FDTD simulation, I am using the metal-dielectric interface. Is it okay if I take conformal variant 0?

      You can use conformal variant 0. It just ignores the metal for the conformal technique, eg, it uses staircase for the metal.
