When calculating using DPM, does it matter if local concentration exceeds 10%?

The issue is with the model assumptions. In theory the DPM concentration can be 2 because the particles occupy no volume. The issue is whether the particle-particle interactions matter to the overall model, and if they do then exceeding 10% may be a problem. It's common to have a high concentration near an injection point or impingement surface: this may or may not alter your result so you need to decide if it's important.
