SubscriberI am very new to ANSYS, approx 2 weeks, and learning how to use fluent through University, and they say to close fluent by going file, Close fluent. This doesn't work. It just thinks about it for a while, and then doesn't do anything. It doesn't even fully freeze. I can still do everything within fluent. Do I need to save the file or something first or is there any trick to closing the program or not?
I would really appreciate your help.
Thanks, Ted

SubscriberFurthermore, if I try and close it through hitting the close button in the top right hand corner, then it doesn't work either. I also tried closing it through Task Manager and that didn't work either. So I have no idea how to get out of this program!

Ansys EmployeeWhen you use File>Close check the text window. If you've not saved case & data or the solver thinks something has changed the TUI can ask if you really want to close Fluent. It's not a common issue but if you clicked somewhere (common with newer users) you might have glitched the GUI.
