Which is Best Solidwork format imported for Ansys?

Dear Guys,nI am trying to simulate the flow through the valve, I have made my model in the solid works and try to import in the Ansys Space claims for further steps like : Repairing and creating the Volume Extract. nI have always use IGES(.IGS)as format imported from the solid work to Ansys. I found that during the Import of IGES, I got a lot of extra edges to repair? Does it matter If I use Parasolid format(.xt) ? Is there any best format I can choose for my application? Choosing any format will also effect the volume extract in the fluent?nthanksn

The IGES and STEP formats have not been enhanced in many years, and are not recommended for complex geometries. nJust like translating languages, the least number of steps is often the most accurate.nDepending on CAD version and your licensing, you should be able to import SolidWorks directly into SpaceClaim.nSpaceClaim can then attach into Ansys Workbench applications.
