Forum ModeratorThey're all best depending on what you need. I tend to prefer smooth transition as the jump in cell size is lowest, but I don't deal with high speed flow so am less worried about first cell height. I also regularly run with 2-3 layers of inflation, or none at all as the high aspect ratio cell isn't suitably for my application. The meshing rules are really guidelines and there's a lot more to it than y+ and cell skew. nViewing 4 reply threads- You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
