In AIM physics region, when we applied material as air for the internal flow region which "volume separated part" from model editor of the inside pipe (refer screen shot), can't able to apply (state of matter) for air, but also not able make "up-to-date". Somebody help me out.

add one more point on same issue. we can apply Copper as material for internal volume but unable to apply.

the reason, I took this simple study to do similar kind of simulate for bigger part

      Hello Nagarajan D

Could you please let us know which template you are using?

If you would like to perform a Thermal Simulation with Fluids, I would recommend you to select the Thermal Template and select the appropriate option during Geometry import to enable assigning fluid materials.

      Hi Subashni

I have used below template. Between fluids and solids i have selected since I need to understand effects on outer pipe due to thermal. Flow of thermal is air which is travelling through internal diameter of the pipe.

Apart from above point, I have quires,

Still I got confused with your templates, if I'm able to create the work flow so that i can define myself manually on all those constrains. Is it possible in AIM?

      Hello Nagarajan D

I'm sorry but you will need to choose a template so that appropriate options can be presented for the analysis.

I would recommend you go through the second and third videos on the Discovery AIM: Fluid Flow Tutorials page. They are in-line with your simulation interests.

For better understanding of the various features in Discovery AIM, I would suggest you go through all the short tutorial videos on the Discovery AIM: Tutorials page.

You can also browse through the several application examples or use the search tab on the top to search for the required topics.
