Why do parameters not appear in workbench when using external type excitation in Electronics Desktop

  When using external circuit type using Maxwell circuit editor, the default design Xplorer setup is not available under Optimetrics in Ansys Electronics Desktop, and the parameters do not appear in Workbench. What is the way around this?

  the variable used in MaxCir cannot directly pass to Maxwell, you need create another variable in Maxwell.
  In Edit External Circuit, Parameter Values tab, change the value from a number to a new local variable in Maxwell, and the new created variable could be use in parametrics study.
