Why is there a crack on my fluent simulated cloud image, does it affect convergence?

I simulated water flooding for viscous liquids and used parallel computing. The internal cloud pattern of the model appears crack, and it always does not converge, is it the crack that does not converge?

Is crack caused by parallel or model problem?

      Hi,

Can you please point out the crack. Can you please insert image of mesh.

Do you see same when you use serial mode?

The cracks are indicating partitions due to parallel (hopefully ). It has nothing to do with convergence.

      Hello,

Based on the image you shared and if you are referring to these lines (screenshot attached), these, I think, are created by the mesh decomposition because of your parallel settings. If they appear of your mesh as well, as pointed out by Keyur, you can be sure that they are because of parallel runs.

Regarding convergence, please elaborate a bit more about your problem. Please share the necessary screenshots of your geometry, mesh, and boundary condition in a separate post.

      Thank you.

      Best Regards,

      Karthik
