Why my epsilon curve keep spiking higher and higher after every 1000 iteration? Is it normal?

I have two questions seeking forum experts for help:

      1. Is it normal that the epsilon curve having much greater fluctuation and higher spikes than others like velocities and continuity?
      2. Why the epsilon curve spike upper after each 1000 iteration instead of gaining a declining spike and reaching convergence? Is it due to the "iteration to plot"/ "iteration to store" as shown in the second photo?

      Thank you for answer!

It's a transient residual plot and looks like turbulence is struggling to converge later on. Does something change/develop in the flow field?
