SubscriberHello Guys, I'm working on the numerical investigation of the Louvered fin by varying its geometry and louvered angle. but when I do the grid independence test for a given geometry by varying the number of mesh elements Vs the area-weighted outlet temperature with 500 iterations, the results are tabulated as shown in the attached photo. In row 6 the solution is converged before the iteration is finished, again for further no. of elements, the solution is not converged but finished the iteration and the result comes. again further in the number of mesh, the solution converged for rows 11, 12, and 14. how can I do the grid independence test for this value?
regards!

Ansys EmployeeWhy do you think that the convergence reported has something to with mesh sensitivity analysis?
Disable residual check, create a couple teport definitions use these as convergence criteria and try to converge deep.

SubscriberThanks a lot for your response, yeah you are right, but the listed temperature values are my first report definitions, as you saw from the figure, can we say that this mesh sensitivity is converged or not? , cause the last 3 or 4 temperatures are almost the same.
regards!
