SubscriberWe have previously installed Ansys on CentOS Linux for our research labs. With the change in direction for CentOS, we have been looking at Ubuntu instead. We've recently seen that Ansys 2021 won't start on Ubuntu though. The error message looks like it might just be a syntax error in the runwb2 script. Is there anything else that would keep Ansys 2021 (or later?) from running on Ubuntu? Is Ubuntu officially support as a Linux option for Ansys?
$ ./runwb2
./runwb2: 136: Syntax error: "(" unexpected
