      can anybody tell me what is wrong in this udf code i have written for a wind turbine analysis.

      #include "udf.h"

      DEFINE_SDOF_PROPERTIES(rotor,prop,dt,time,dtime)

      {

      prop[SDOF_MASS]= 0.122;   /*mass of body*/

      prop[SDOF_IZZ]= -0.0004307;    /*inertia moment of body in z_direction*/

      prop[SDOF_ZERO_TRANS_X]= TRUE;

      prop[SDOF_ZERO_TRANS_Y]= TRUE;

      prop[SDOF_ZERO_TRANS_Z]= TRUE;

      prop[SDOF_ZERO_ROT_X]= TRUE;

      prop[SDOF_ZERO_ROT_Y]= TRUE;

      prop[SDOF_ZERO_ROT_Z]= FALSE; /*allow rotate in z_direction*/

      }

      What is the error that you are getting?

      thank you, sir for your replay, actually i want to rotate a 3d fan in z axis but after uploading this code i am getting a message 6dof cant compute angular acceleration, and one more message i am getting ( no motion is detected in current time step), can you please tell me where i did wrong...

      sir , should i add moment of inertia in all direction in sdof code .....

      If you just want rotation have you looked at the sliding mesh approach?

      the rotation is for wind driven n

      Yes, and you can set the rotation speed based on the blade force. n
