SubscriberHello sir, I have downloded the ansys student version 2022 R2, i need to simulate the welding object using addtive manufacturing process to calculate the residual stress and distortion. but there is any kind of additive manufacturing extention option in not availabe, is student version does not have the additive manufacturing extention?. or the licence version have these additive manufacturing extension?. please confirm me this and help me that how i install this AM extension.

The Ansys Free Student Version does not have the Additive Manufacturing tool. The tools that are available in the student version can be seen in the 'What's Included' section in this link: Download Ansys Student | Workbench-based Simulation Tools
