Ansys EmployeeOne cannot import an .STL file directly into Mechanical. However one can convert .STL file into CAD file through Spaceclaim and then import the CAD file into Mechanical. Generally .STL files are not able to capture geometry appropriately and Spaceclaim helps to repair the .STL file if needed.
