Workbench crashed and wont open again

  I have looked around at the options of what I can do and have:
  Restarted the computer and tried opening it
  Reinstalled ansys and tried opening it
  looked at the Event Viewer (but I have no idea what any of it means)

  Is there an error when you try and open Workbench? Removing the %appdata% folder(s) may help, but it depends what is causing the problem.

  It doesnt give any error, it shows up on the task bar but I cant open it.
  where can I find the appdata folder for ansys?
