Workbench fails to start after Windows update

Workbench 2023 R1 fails to start after the recent Windows 10 (Enterprise) update yesterday.  The Windows Event log records an error as follows -

Faulting application name: AnsysFWW.exe, version:, time stamp: 0x637cd83b
Faulting module name: InProcessClient64.dll, version:, time stamp: 0x638ce20b
      Exception code: 0xc0000409
      Fault offset: 0x000000000011aab8
      Faulting process id: 0x45dc
      Faulting application start time: 0x01d941699bd088ea
      Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\v231\Framework\bin\win64\AnsysFWW.exe
      Faulting module path: C:\Program Files\SentinelOne\Sentinel Agent\InProcessClient64.dll
      Report Id: a56acb0b-e6b8-4337-a879-d9c6a437f3d0
      Faulting package full name:
      Faulting package-relative application ID:

While I see that this is a long-standing issue with past Windows updates, none of the solutions posted in past forum threads work for me. Given that multiple machines that we use are facing the same issue I'm looking to see how we can resolve this and prevent it from happening in the future.

      Thank you,

This is being caused by your security software, SentinelOne. You need to add exceptions in SentinelOne for the C:\Program Files\Ansys Inc\ directory and all subdirectories.

      Faulting module path: C:\Program Files\SentinelOne\Sentinel Agent\InProcessClient64.dll
