SubscriberHi, I am a student and new to Ansys CFX. Been using it to analyse an aerofoil for my dissertation project. Managed to mesh and produce a final solution with the aerofoil at AoA 8 degrees at 30m/s. However I am struggling with obtaining the lift/drag data from the aerofoil. How would I do it? Any help would be appreciated, thanks

SubscriberHi,
I am not sure about CFX but in Fluent you can get that information from Reports>Forces and you select the direction (axis) of drag and lift. the values can be displayed on Console showing pressure and viscous forces in the appropriate directions.
