Hi everyone, I am making a simulation of aluminum solidifying over time in a cylindrical crucible in ANSYS Fluent. As this is a transient problem, I wanted to make an animation of a temperature vs radial position plot that changes with the time step in the simulation.
I was just wondering if making an animation of a plot is even possible on ANSYS and if so, what are the steps that needs to be taken? I currently made a line of interest that goes along the radius and I am able to get an XY temperature plot at only the initial and final state.June 16, 2021 at 8:37 pmai0013SubscriberYou can export instantaneous hard-copies of your XY plot( use Auto-execution commands ). Then just stick them altogether into an animation (use ffmpeg or matlab).
Just be sure to fix the style of your plot (axes range, number format, rules, etc..)
