SubscriberWhat exactly is Y plus ?
Is it the minimum distance from the wall to get an accurate value of the drag value ?
Change the mesh ?
Why ?

Ansys Employeedimensionless distance of the first cell centroid to the wall. I recommend doing some tutorials, readin some text books and visiting our online documentation.

SubscriberYes ,
I have gone through a couple of books .
Is it preferred to have the cell centroid in the viscous sub layer region or the log layer ?

Ansys EmployeeI think you did not go through the documentation.
From pragmatic point of view and as you are looking to drag: better to have a well resolved boundary with at least 10-15 cells and the first cell to have yplus almost one. Moreover the surface should be also be refined stream-wise and in the lateral direction. Please use SST turbulence model.
