@Janani could u reset your SETUP from the workbench, if that didn't work, could u try to suppress those two inflations u have given to mesh and reset the SETUP again from the workbench and try to open the SETUP.
Check the mesh, is it valid for Fluent. Does the error occur when trying to open Fluent or when doing an update?
The error occurred when I tried to open set-up. How do I check if the mesh is valid ?
@Janani in the mesh settings, check if the PHYSICS PREFERENCE is CFD and SOLVER PREFERENCE is FLUENT
Yes, it is set to CFD and FLUENT.
@Janani can u show your mesh settings please
@Janani in the messages, u can see a WARNING, what is that?
@zzzzz146 Suppressing the inflation worked. Thank you .
@Janani if u want to increase the number of elements, try with EDGE SIZING and increase them equally on both ends on the cylinder, that will help u increase your mesh numbers and still get a smoth mesh
@zzzzz146 Okay !
Go into Sizing and turn on the size functions, then set the sizes to something appropriate.
Looking at the image, are you trying to mesh the fluid and solids parts of the model?
